JC Fernandez Departs ''Mercedes in the Morning'' in Las Vegas

JC Fernandez

JC Fernandez has announced his departure as co-host from the "Mercedes in the Morning" show on Audacy's Hot AC KMXB (Mix 94.1) in Las Vegas. Fernandez, who has been a staple at KMXB since 1998, began his tenure at the station as a producer for the "Mark & Mercedes" morning show before stepping up as co-host following Mark Diceiro's exit at the end of 2014.

Before joining KMXB, Fernandez contributed as a morning producer at WWZZ (Z104) in Washington DC from 2001 to 2005. His broadcasting career in Las Vegas extends beyond radio as he also co-hosts "Las Vegas Now" on KLAS-TV and runs a YouTube channel, "Cars, Shops and Collections."

In a farewell message, Fernandez expressed his gratitude towards the listeners, "After 27 incredible years, my time at Mix 94.1 has come to an end. Thank you to all the listeners-your voices, your stories, and your energy have made these years unforgettable. Meeting many of you and feeling your support every day has been a profound experience. I am grateful to have formed lasting friendships and consider many of you as family."

He concluded, "Thank you for making these 27 years so special. I'll carry these memories with me forever. As I reflect on our time together, know that a proper recount of these memories deserves its own moment. As we enter 2025, a new era begins for me, and I believe that life happens for you, not to you. More to come on this new chapter."
